![]() ETL and HR supposed to be our advisor, and mentor, who was suppose give us advice 'what is right' and 'what is wrong?' you know what I am trying to say. ![]() ETL and HR in my stores are hit or miss to be honest. Not to mention that Target ETL and HR has shown passive aggressiveness towards trainers and employee, at least I worked on Target. This should not have been an issue if my store even allowed. As a result, HR agreed to mail me the money that I have lost due to excessive tax deduction through paper check. The investigation continued for 2 weeks, and they realized that companies have made an error with a payroll. I brought this up to the HR and store owner regarding that issue, and they ended up investigating I am losing more taxes than normal. Like I was working 40 hours and still making 512.5, where I should be making at least 1000 even after them taking taxes off. Like they took more taxes than what they need to be. Target also made an error with payroll multiple times. The reason for Wegmans charging excessively, $18 for a slice of Pizza, is that most full-time Target employees goes to Wegmans to eat lunch and dinner. I even tried to get food in Wegmans, they are still attempted to excessively charge me money for simple slice of Pizza, and even refuse to give Target employees any discount. I once had to pay $20 for a small cup of Starbucks coffee. On top of that Target refuse to give me any employee discount in their stores (even more a cup of Starbucks coffee). The thing that most frustrating me that small bag of chips cost like $8-$12 which is ridiculous. Same with foods and groceries which is ridiculously expensive like you would spending between $20 to $30. ![]() When I was in the store, everything I tried to buy like good clothes or staff like that are $50 to $60. Note that I have working at this store from Oct 2022-Feb 2023 and I did not got my license and car until Dec 2022. I did not have license so I was fucked traveling 12.5 miles away daily with Uber/Lyft 2/3 of time since there was no public transportations that directly goes on the area I work at. And the place I currently work at is only 3.6 miles away (7 minutes commute), which is significantly closer distance in compare to Target which was 12.5 miles away (30 minutes commute). Although there is still many things wrong in my stores (micromanagement, no 15 min break, mandatory security checks on employees when entering and exiting the stores), this stores is nowhere as shitshow as Target. Currently I work at Primark at the mall I am getting everything in 1/3 the amount of what I paid in Target, plus I have employee discount which I can use not just in the store, but any food court, and grocery stores. That being said I did not got laid off, or anything, I just gave two weeks notice because of the store being far, and lack off employee discount for overpriced items. I was hired as a seasonal and was kept on store after Christmas, although manager knew that I was too interested to be stucking working on the store. So I quit Target on February 14th 2023 (6 months ago) which was the best decision I ever made.
